here is a list of things which I have yet to master, because I feel like there are just some things that all people eventually seem to grasp and, for whatever reason, the basics continue to elude me, despite determined efforts and a lot of shouting

- Not killing the aloe plant, either through neglect or...whatever the opposite of neglect is
